La Fogata is a Mexican bar and grill from San Antonio Texas that brings high quality, authentic Mexican cuisine right to your table. Fogata in spanish can mean either bonfire or campfire, harkening back to the open flame grill or parilla often used in authentic mexican cuisine. The charred flavor is a staple of this restaurant & is even in the house sauce, salsa quemada.
The objective here. Elevate La Fogata’s position from a mexican bar & grill, to a modern and refined fine dining experience. While at the same time contrasting the modernity of the brand with primal fiery images of deliciously charred food.
The elegant yet modern forms of the typeface Brandon Grotesque are manipulated and reformed to combine a symbol of a campfire with the letter A. Using the typeface in this way unifies the mark with the logotype.
