Ugly Bastard Whiskey is a little new to the game. Started in 2019 in San Antonio Texas, Ugly Bastard Whiskey prides itself on high quality spirits, even when spirits are low. You see, appearances can be deceiving. Inside every bottle of Ugly Bastard Whiskey is a complex yet subtle blend of flavors that can make even the ugliest bastards grin.
The logotype is a slightly more modern take on the old whiskeys of yesteryore. The words Ugly Bastard as set in a flowing script typeface in order to contrast the words meaning with its form. The typeface Ruston Block/Basic is used to give a subtle throwback to old signage of americana. The brand mark is a sassy old timey man looking over his shoulder as if to say, “Look at that Ugly Bastard!”
